A new President

I could not let this day go by without saying congratulations to all of us for living in not just a country like the United States but on a planet like Earth.

I feel more proud to be an American today because of the courage of yesterday. I always feel my patriotism when I travel but today I felt it here at home, every time I said it out loud to friends and strangers. When calls came in from across the Atlantic I said it with a strength that made me stand taller and hold my head up higher.

To hear the grace that John McCain delivered last night, asking all Americans to support the historical change that had been decided by the people of this country. His words held true sincerity and strength.

My eyes filled with tears when the first biracial, African American President stepped onto the stage in my home town. His words called to the best in all of all to come together as a people. I loved the story Barak Obama told of the 106 year-old woman and all the amazing changes she’d seen in her life time. Her life was a light through the past into the present – a life so filled with change that the realities of our time would have been unfathomable to her parents. I could not help but feel proud of The Vision Quest and the fact that when I wrote it I wanted it to be a light from our present shinning into the future. Who knows what changes the next 100 years will bring? I have imagined and the visions of my words are my gift.

I hope the Vision Quest site becomes a safe haven for ideas. The ones all of you bring to help create a better future for us, our children and our children’s children. Let’s make it a place where we can explore the technologies and science that already exits. Let’s discover, discuss and build all kinds of potential solutions to help the world face the challenges that stand before us. I believe we have the “knowings” as Masta Poe says. The answers to right this country and ultimately redefine and unify the world are already in our hearts and minds. Believe and trust the universe is in us all. So, let’s come together as humans aligned with all the living creatures of our planet and figure out what to do to make our world a better place. Everything we need is here ready to be manifested into the best reality possible.

This is only the beginning.
